Puntuali - wall clocks

Time should not be hard to tell.

Finding a good clock is not easy. I had been looking for the perfect wall clock for a long time and struggled to find anything suitable. Either the easy-to-read, but boring classroom or doctor's office clock design, or the stylish but hard-to-read (and ultra expensive) Scandinavian clock with no hour markers. I was looking for the perfect hybrid but could not find it.

So I just designed my own.

I have been a watch nerd and a bit of a collector for a long time, so it felt logical to pour all of my knowledge into the dial design of my very own wall clock series.

The rules were simple, keep it stylish, legible and visually balanced. Basically design something that you would want to put on your wall and that will take a fraction of a second to tell the time.

The result is crossbreed of styles. Partly an homage to the practical and instantly legible diver watches of the last century (Panerai, Anonimo, Rolex, Blancpain, Omega, Longines, Seiko and others) and partly influenced by the minimalism of Scandinavian design.
